Situated in the southern zone of Florence, the Libera Accademia di Belle Arti of Florence site, independent body of the LABA of Brescia legally recognized by the Miur (M.D. 27.4.00), occupies around 1.000 squared metres with recreational space in front, a garden behind and multimedia equipped laboratories . The building is completely up to date and cabled for the wireless Internet connection, each classroom has the lcd video and a projector for the interactive lessons. Students use the pc Mac of the school with the software needed for the post-production, 2D and 3D modeling and animation, CAD for the interior design.



The LABA was the first Academy in Tuscany to offer academic courses of 3 plus 2 years (restructured duration) equipollent to the short and specialization degrees in the following subjects: Painting, Photography, Graphic Design and Design. Besides structured university courses, the Academy offers further completion with masters courses in Professional Cinematography and Jewellery Design. WE DO NOT ACCEPT MORE THAN 20 STUDENTS FOR EACH CLASS.



Concerning the Studio, special equipment such as lighting and backdrops are available in the room. (Nikon cameras and video cameras Canon). Also available the digital printer (High - Definition equipment) .

In the dark room, students develop and print the analogical images and use the enlargers, the optical benches, etc.

The computer science lab are euqipped with 20 MACHINTOSH pc.

The Painting lab is a wide room where students express themselves following their own characteristics, using many techniques. The teaching staff has the help of some assistants for Drawing and Painting courses.
